Riva was shown until the age of 7 when an injury ended her show career.  In just a few short years she won numerous Hunter Championships and Reserve Championships and earned the title of UHJA Hunter Horse of Year in 2010.   Her sire Rivano is a successful son of Riverman currently competing at Grand Prix in jumpers.  Riva's dam Nationale was also a very successful jumper earning numerous Championships at A rate shows.  Grandsire Riverman was the Reserve Champion of his Holsteiner stallion inspection where he was titled the "top model" of the German stallion inspection.  Riverman stood as a Verband stallion for 3 years producing a high percentage of Premium foals.  The success of these foal crops in both jumping and dressage placed Riverman 2nd the the 2000 German FN jumping index and 3rd in the overall index.  Most recently in the US Riverman was named 2009 USEF Eventing Sire of the Year.   Riva's pedigree is further anchored by Cor de la Bryere on both the top and bottom side.  Cor de la Bryere is known as one of the most influential sires in modern Warmblood breeding.  He has been titled the "Reserve Stallion of the Century" second only to Landgraf I.

The incredible athleticism shown by this mare in Dressage and Jumping is no accident, she if by the World ranked International show jumper Silvio I and is a half sister to the 3 time World Cup winner, Shutterfly.  Wikipedia calls Shutterfly the "Stallion of the Millennium" for his unequaled accomplishments as an International Show Jumper.  Sarah was bred by Plum Creek Hollow in Colorado, a well known importer of quality Hanoverians.  Sarah's dam sire, Fabriano also produces quality offspring that excel at the International level in both jumping and dressage. Sarah is a strikingly beautiful mare with three outstanding gaits and a huge scopey jump.  She was trained to third level by Susan Halez of Colorado and shows the talent and quality of movement for an FEI level horse.  Her incredible movement as a dressage horse is no doubt coming from the influence of Sandro in her pedigree, the same line that produced the infuential Dressage stallion, Sandro Hit.  Before retiring as a broodmare, Sarah was shown in eventing by the Canadian Olympic eventer, Dyna Korhummel of Feather Creek Farm.  As a broodmare, Sarah has consistently produced First Premium offspring who are now just beginning successful show careers.
